Professional background: Kendra has over 15 years of human resources experience, primarily within the automotive manufacturing and insurance industries. She previously worked with Future Transfer from 2014 to 2019 as the company's sole HR professional and rejoined in 2024 to lead the Human Resources team.
Kendra has over 15 years of human resources experience, primarily within the automotive manufacturing and insurance industries. She previously worked with Future Transfer from 2014 to 2019 as the company's sole HR professional and rejoined in 2024 to lead the Human Resources team.
Since rejoining Future Transfer, Kendra has focused on strengthening and modernizing HR practices to better support employees, leaders, and organizational growth. Key accomplishments include transitioning many informal and paper-based processes to electronic solutions, improving communication and consistency across locations, and enhancing employee programs with a focus on retention and employee experience. She has also worked to increase education around HR programs and processes, strengthen HR representation within the leadership team, and develop the HR team to provide greater support across the organization.
Kendra's current priorities include improving the onboarding experience, streamlining recruitment, expanding employee self-service capabilities, and using workforce data to identify opportunities for improvement. She continues to focus on enhancing retention and developing practical HR programs and processes that support Future Transfer's growth while creating an environment where employees can build long-term careers.
Kendra holds advanced professional HR credentials, including the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) and Certified Human Resources Leader (CHRL) designations in Ontario, as well as the Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation in Manitoba, a nationally recognized standard for HR professionals in Canada. She also has a Diploma in Business Administration – Human Resources from St. Clair College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Davenport University.
